It very nearly was. There was an attempt at the goal from the receiving team, but it didnt last much longer.



This would have been more exciting if there had been, say, 15 minutes each way,

Golden Try

I think conversions would be a better way of deciding it. Or drop goals. In a penalty shootout format. It would surely be inevitable a side would miss when it came to a prob trying to knock a conversion over from the touchline or land a drop goal. Still not the best method but better than golden point IMHO. Golden point could also be replaced by "golden try". A drop goal is too simple to set up, at least a try takes craft and team interplay. Would make for a much more exciting period.
