I would have liked to have had the questions asked.



How did Halifax tick all the boxes and meet the criteria a couple of monthe back along with Widnes and yet now they have not even been allocated a grade C license.



What criteria did they tick then that they do not tick now?



How can we have gone backwords sufficiently in such a short peroid, it's just ludicrous.



Halifax were manipulated out of meeting any license criteria to avoid the RFL being in a totally undefenable position.



We have just been to the NRC final and played great rugby and took defeat graciously.



Our league posistion has improved and we have a real chance of making the play offs.



Our ground has been used to play Super league games with 2 of them screened live on Sky Sports with nothing but praise from the clubs and their supporters involved in those games.



Second question what real prospects and guarantees do any Championship clubs have of ticking all the boxes, meeting every criteria set and yet may still not be allowed into Super league because of the 14 club restriction.



If that is the case how long will it be before these clubs inevitably fade and die.

The man clearly gets paid in burgers to lie. The interview was a disgrace and you have been cheated out of a super league place.

In tough economic times, i would expect to see one if not two SL clubs hitting the financial skids 18 months from now - there is no way that 14 business plans will deliver the results they all hope for.



The balanced scorecard was described as a holisitic (subjective) method of analysing clubs - time will tell. It's not as if the RFl ever get things wrong.



As for the idea of centrally controlled clubs in development area's - don't think it will be succesfull and would be too big a risk for the top suits who would be held accountable for failure.

don't worry they are tangling themselves up in there own web of lies they will run out of them eventually.



lets just hope the Crusaders can't get back on there feet so we actually have a chance for the next franchise

Nigel Woods certainly is a man who takes a long time to say nothing. Don't believe he answered a question directly, infact every question, despite being different, was answered with the same answer just with the words mixed up. Clearly singing off a pre-approved hymn sheet including key phrases such as 'economic time' 'broad scorecard' 'we can't go into detail' etc.



Poor interviewing technique as well to be honest. Nothing pressing in the slightest.



And how many times was the word 'sport' and 'rugby' mentioned? None.

I'll learn more tonight from mr Steele but he was basically told he mustn't raise or tackle the fat controller too harshly or the club would feel the wrath of the RFL!! Basically we were gagged

i realise many of you are angry, but the big, almost completed stadium i pass most mornings would beg to differ with this point.

I am now of the belief that there is no real future for clubs currently not in SL ever getting in there, as in NRL/NFL. They want to focus all the support down to these clubs therefore increasing their incomes at the expense of all others. BUT, people are not that fickle and will not, as a rule, just pack up and go and support another team ( I know there are Fax fans who now follow the Bulls, but they are s).
