I know and have played with and against some very talented players who should have been playing at Pro level, even SL level. But they lacked the work ethic and ambition to make it. Sam is not the most talented forward in the world, but when I have seen him he gives 100% for Fax. Now what more can you ask from a player? Some are blessed with talent-Black, Shad and Penky for example. However you also need forwards who give 100% and do the hard donkey work for others to shine. This is why Fax won last week as the likes of Barlow, Aizue, Larder, Wrench, Frank gave everything they had, so that the talented players did the business.

I wish each player Fax signed gave as much for the club as Sam has shown for us since signing. I am also glad that he won a winners medal for Fax. Keep it up Sam and you will be a legend like Wrench and Larder are now in our eyes. People who know the game respect not just the superstars, but also those who give 100% and do the hard work that often is unnoticed like Larder and Wrench did.

Nope, are we fussed though? He won title with one of favourites and was a good career move fair play but method of it? He's obvioulsy a proud 'fax lad and no doubt will do a good job for your club... well unless the next better offer comes up though?

80% Lee Doran, you know gives 100% plenty off effort but maybe a few too many penalties and errors to make it to the next level? Though Barlow is still short of Doran that's what can see him being at best.

Is Doran a Widnesian ?



Will Sam have to be as fat to be as good as Doran ?
