as far as i'm aware TO have made a bid for SL in 2012 but it's more in hope than expectation like any other club (without the exception of Widnes ) - they are currently sorting out thier stadium redevelopment into a 12000 capacity
which other bits don't you understand ? |

Obviously TO don't understand as they haven't won the right to apply for SL this time around, they haven't reached ANY of the criteria required!! So why is it a token gesture from TO, said in myopinion like TO are doing us all a favour by applying?
Win the right to apply and nobody will have an issue with TO but we all know our sports beloved governing body will change rules, targets and anything else to ensure the game is taken further and further away from the heartlands and the origins of the sport. |

Listen i'm not defending TO - i'm just giving you the facts as I undertand them by talking to the players, ex-players,officials & reading the local press & website etc
I believe (as a neutral) that TO should earn the right to their SL place like every other team - but the RFL,whether you like it or not seem hell-bent on 'expanding' the game so maybe special dispensation will be made for them.
If you believe RL should remain within the confines of the 'RL heartlands' then that's your opinion - the powers that be obviously feel differently. |

Did you come over to Halifax for the TO game? as our club chairman didn't travel to Toulouse. |

go on,explain yourself ! - what's the big problem ? I've admitted I made a mistake,what do you want from me ?
Someone representing Fax spoke with me at TO at the last game - that's fact,not lies! thers' nothing sinister in that ! he seemed a really nice guy who said what he thought,why does that make me a liar ???
whoever this person was (sounds like Malcolm Powell chairman from the supporters trust who I mistook for the chairman of the club (I found a photo of him on you tube ) was not very confident of Faxs' credentials for SL and was envious of TOs' facilities & potential ! that's all,why does that make me a liar ? where's your problem ?
I look forward to seeing him and the rest of you loyal fans again at TO in 2011 |
