It comes down to Cherryade or Frank?



Frank - gives space from runs and serves as a good decoy, defence struggles sometimes cos of his size.



Cherryade - Good energy in defence but plays below his weight going forward



IMO against Sparra we will need a forward that will give us an attacking platform, therefore FRANK for me.

so what if james fit too?

He won't be match sharp though. He hasn't played since April. Good to come off the bench in a regular match but not for a final.

Team selection will be difficult. Some players performances on thurs has brought them into contention.

Difficult one with James,and what he can bring to the team, however he wont be match fit due to him not playing since early in the year. I would say no he has no form and we dont know how he'll react, give it to the lads that has helped us get there.



Some lads like Wrench, Smith, Watene, Larder are coming towards the end of their careers and will be desperate to play in a major final. Some players are gonna be disappointed.



I'm going for a tight game, however now we have got to the final the pressure will be off and the Halifax we know will be back. Fax by 12

The result will come down to who turns up on the day (daft statement I know)



Ignore ALL the past results this season - This game could go either way and I am expecting an absolute corker Maybe even a golden point to decide.

Sadly i think Matt James has played his last game for us, he won't be in the squad for the grand final!!!!!!

If Cherrypicker turns up as he did on Thursday i would give him the nod over Frank based on workrate, thats if Maloney is fit of course. Matt James might just miss out as i feel you have to go with the lads who got us there personally.

But it wont be easy....Penky to shine for me if he plays him in the only position he can play of course.

matt james did help us get there, as we would not be going if had not got enough points for second in the league.

Hope you see my point.Im talking about last Thursday. Of course Matt has contributed like all the squad but if you had played on Thursday and wasnt considered for next week for a bloke who has been out for over 2 months you would be gutted.

Which i think is fair enough based on that they are not long term absentee`s they have both been playing recent rugby although Jon did have that lengthy spell out.
