Does winning the GF warrant one?



Batley had something for the NRC I recall.



If done properly it could be a good marketing ploy, think the club should milk this great season in every way, done well so far with the excellent GF merchandise.



what I would do;



- open top parade from Town Hall to piece Hall.

- Player interviews on stage

- International Party Drs do a few numbers

- Chance to buy Season tickets and passes

- General fund raising

We were on about this last night, wonder if the council could step in and sort something out. The opportunity is there seen as the players were unable to thank the fans for their support last night due to security.

Think there should be some sort of victory parade organised in town

How about just having a night in the East Stand Suite. Nothing fancy just a meet and greet for the fans with the players, with a few speeches by people like Wrench, Holroyd etc. Sell some booze, shirts and season tickets for next year.

settle for that, although possibly afternoon so kids can enjoy as well.



My lad would hate to miss that.

Alot of the players work, as too the supporters, so an afternoon maybe tricky.

One word: Cost

The Mayor really should hold a Civic Reception at the TH.

There was mention of something involving the town hall last night in liquid from one or two people.



Would be good to have a sunday afternoon function somewhere (doesnt have to be the shay if they want to sting us on cost to do it) where fans could have a photo with the trophy ect

How about on a free Saturday or Sunday they allow us to us to sit in ther East Stand, open it up for free, get Pete to interview the players... gives us a chance to say goodbye to those who are leaving & get their thoughts on their time with us.



Im sure a small stage on the concourse behind the dugouts wouldnt be hard to organise?
