you never no on the widnes forum they are saying theres something big to announce on the 4th april which is roumoured to be that probiz are going to be the new major sponsors of the superleague with the demands that both his teams are in superleague fax and cas

More likely be April 1st for that I think.

You'd think so but if they don't they'll have to cordon off Runcorn Bridge.

The big announcement is Widnes related, so nothing to do with Probiz.

To be honest anything could happen with the RFL.I am not 100% confident, so not all Widnes fans are arrogant.I would like to see Widnes and Fax in superleague as some teams think they have the devine right to be in Dooper League.Wakey would struggle if got demoted as the Championship tough on a small salary cap.They would lose Kear and need start with a new team.

As I mentioned elsewhere people have been told by staff at the Stobart that SKY will have cameras both there and at The Shay so must be something unless just for staff? Don't you have a new bar under new stand people could gather in?



Makes me cringe thinking back to last time. Few hundred fans stood with players & SO'C at Widnes whereas Salford had about 10 staff and Crusaders had about 6 people sat there and not one looked shocked / emotionally thrilled at announcement... So obvious they already knew

The clubs were told an hour or so before the public announcement by phone IIRC.

Barrow didn't even meet all of the minimum criteria though. They missed out on the attendance figure. With them being out in the open there isn't even the possibility that they could make figures up in the application document.
